It is the mission of My Own Place, Inc. to improve the quality of life of all persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities by maximizing one’s independence through advocating and providing a standard of living that is driven by choices, preferences and desires.

Our vision is grounded in the organizational belief that persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities are valued members of our society and must be afforded the same rights, choices and opportunities as any other citizen.
