My Own Place, Inc. is dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities by empowering them in their quest for independency. Our organization works hard to ensure that each person’s standard of living reflects their unique choices, preferences, and aspirations while always striving towards cultivating a vibrant environment where no one feels left behind or forgotten.

At My Own Place, Inc., we strive to make sure that each person with an intellectual or developmental disability lives a life of dignity and empowerment. Our team is dedicated to creating dynamic environments where everyone feels seen, heard, and supported in their aspirations for independence. We believe all individuals should have the opportunity to determine what success looks like for them.
We support people with disabilities through person centered planning, respect, independence, dignity, assistive technology, residential services, and even rehab services, all while we empower and encourage self advocacy, support, and assist with daily living skills.
We strive to makes sure everyone has the opportunity to grow in an encouraging environment where no one feels overshadowed or forgotten and provide people with intellectual and developmental disabilities a place and life of their own.
My Own Place is dedicated to being sensitive to the needs of the individuals we serve. We are committed to designing and providing the support and services to meet each individual’s needs.
Our funding source comes from Medicaid Home and Community Based Waiver for people with IDD, but with your gracious contributions, we can continue to provide assistance on an even LARGER scale.
